Synopsis:

You’ll start the game as three different choices of men:
1.___ Freeman: You freely decided to become a Gladiator taking the gladiator oath (infamia). You’ll gain 2 extra points to your charisma.
2.___Criminal: The Arena is your punishment for your wrong doings. You’ll gain 2 Extra Points to your Dexterity score.
3.___War Prisoner: Enemy of Rome, you’ll have to fight for your Life in the Arena. You’ll gain 2 Extra Points to your Dexterity Score.


The character will have 4 basic attributes:
1.___Charisma: It will determine the influence of the gladiator with the public. A more charismatic Gladiator will have more followers, will gain more money and have a better chance of getting his life spared if he loses combat.
2.___Strength: It will determine how hard your blows are, and the type of weapon/armor you can choose.
3.___Constitution: It will determine your hit points, your fatigue meter and how fast you can heal.
4.___Dexterity: It will determine your ability to dodge blows, and how fast you attack.

All four attributes will start with a basic score of 8 (+ the modifier depending your “race”). The player will be given 12 points to distribute as he sees fit. Every 10 levels he will gain 4 extra points for his gladiator. Every 5 levels you’ll gain 1 point on the ability determined by your gladiator type.
